Hau Lam

Hau is the Managing Director of Renaissance Wealth, with over 30 years’ experience in the financial workforce. Since entering the financial planning field in 1997, Hau has developed his skills in large corporations such as Westpac and Ord Minnett before consolidating them by starting his own firm and creating Renaissance Wealth in 2005. His expertise extends to investment, superannuation, tax, financial and SMSF advice.

In his free time, Hau is a classic handyman often spending his weekends gardening, building and repairing, and various other handyman tasks. Although he no longer practices architecture, Hau continues to enjoy admiring buildings around Sydney and the places he travels to across the world. Hau enjoys eating at restaurants both new and favourites with his wife and two foodie daughters, as long as the food is value for money. When he’s not working at the office or in the garden, Hau likes to surf the web for good bottles of red and spend time in Bunnings picking out the best tools.

- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (USYD)

- Master of Commerce in Finance (UNSW)

- Accredited Derivatives Adviser Level 1 & 2 (Kaplan Professional)

- Specialist Adviser (SMSF Association)
